What I think there should be is 3 regional qualifiers not including the forces. North, Midland and South, fished over two days one month apart couldn't be more simple

Enter, don't enter, choice is yours! Sorry if its really expensive but then so is smoking and going to the pub

The elimination process def wants sorting out. How about this for an idea - 8 /10 large water venues are chosen throughout the country, entrants must fish 3 or possibly 4 venues and their total finishing points calculated as a % of the entry at that venue then added to get an overall top 28 for the team. Should get the most consistant anglers through. So no national final. We all go 'pleasure' fishing 4 times a year anyway. Down side is cost and travel and organisation. Just a thought.
