Default Toft Newton

Just had a very enjoyable day fishing in the Toftnewton cup bank match along with wesleybrown. Very pleasant day with a well organised match , pegged out and switch sections every 1.5 hrs. Jason also laid on a free drink for all 24 competitors , thanks Jason.
Hope a few more forum members can attend next year

Is that the same 'Jason' who owned Guiness the German Shepherd dog? if so, he's been there some years ... first cut my teeth on Toft many years ago when he (if its him) was there..

Yes , same Jason captain , he left for a good few years , but has now taken over the lease , instead of as previously working for G D . Its picking up well , good stock level and a very pleasant greeting to everyone.

Sadly Guiness is now looking after a fishery in the sky, he's buried accross from the lodge. Jason is now bringing up another G/S but I can't remember his name, could be marmalade!!!

Well you haven't mentioned that you won Mick so I will, great performance catching 6 in 50 mins.

Great day had by all, now looking forward to the fur and feather in Dec.

Andy
