Default Rutland Water Tuesday Night Boat League...

Starts tomorrow evening, 10.05.2011, at the lodge. Boats usually go out at 6 o-clock. The last two years have seen the first evening of the league cancelled due to bad weather, dont think it will be a problem tomorrow.

If you fancy it, call the lodge, 01780 686441, for more details.

See you there!

Tough evening. 4 fish for 9lb won it for Chris Evans. Keith Jones was 2nd with 4 fish for 7lb. Richard Cooper had best fish.

Will post full results when AW post them on their site.

Interestingly, 4 Zander were caught.

Fish and Chips were nice and greasy, beer was nice and cold.

I caught one a few years ago just off Armley Wood, it was like bringing a lump of weed in,around 6lb I would guess.

Funny you should say that Mick I was only talking to someone today about the day at Rutland when you had 8 for 22lb and I could only manage 8 for 15lb
Same flies, same line, same retrieve and same boat so we must have been casting into the same shoal of fish.
You perhaps don't wash our hands before fishing

How are you mate?
