Default Masterline Pairs - STOCKS

We have decided to move the comp back from this season to the start of next season. It will be the first comp of the season at Stocks and at a time when the fishing will be spectacular.

I would welcome your opinions (constructive only please) on the following -

1. Should we run it as a 'pairs' comp - (1 boat & 1 bank angler)
2. What prizes would you prefer - tackle or cash or a serious memento (silver platter or high quality trophies or embroidered jumpers)
3. Any interesting rules you would bring in (or leave out)
4. Any other helpful comments

The date will be Saturday March 22nd

Thank you
Nigel

Nigel....
1. How about each half of the pairing does half a day on boat and half on bank?
2.Tackle - if it's stuff that you would like to receive, cash if the alternative is a zinger and a **** fly box.
3.Fishery rules on flies.
4. 9am start - 1 hour for the switch over

Jav07 - Looks like I'm safe until next March then?

Cash & Trophies may be better than unwanted tackle.

Daft question, but what happens if there are gale force winds?

.

Rain I can handle, it's the 3 ft waves ripping down the fishery that I don't like!

Hi Midge,

No we don't I'm afraid. This comp is run by us as a Masterline team, it's not actually run by Masterline, but they do tend to support both us and the comp.

Regards
Nigel
