Smile Youth International

Well done to the Scots Lads at Menteith, and very well done to the Irish lads
a nice second and beating england sweet. Not bad for lads who dont fish for rainbows very often.

Mr Trout Hunter,

Can you please explain to an English man why you are so obsessed with the English not winning a fishing match?

You seem to find much joy when England don't win!

I for one am always interested in scotlands sporting achievements, and have always appreciated scotlands successes in the past. After all we are, or should be, one entity.

Please enlighten me if you will!

Hi Grasshopper. Its only a bit of banter as we are all good sports and only want to tease you english. As for not wanting england to win well we all need to have some one to try to beat and as you guys are the most successful i think you can understand why we like to get one over on you. Only a bit of fun.Lets here it for all the young up and comming fly fishers.Oh one other thing I am not scottish I am Irish.

Default Scottish Hospitality

As an Englishman that has had the privilege of having two sons fished for the English Youth Team I must say that the hospitality always shown by the Scottish Team, Coaches and Families has always been welcoming, friendly and sincere - really is a shame you are not in the USA at the "worlds" this year - congratulations on the win.
Tight lines.

Any way off to the world cup on lough mask ( now theres a real comp.) for the rest of the week hope the fishing is good.
