Yup, and quite a margin

I would also like to say well done and thanks to Dudley from Cork and Ian from Fife who were great sports and made my day thoroughly enjoyable today.

Well done to Watson's Fancy and his team - hopefully the Scottish team can reverse this result later in the year at the Lake!

Charliea 1234 , did hideaway get a thrashing, any big fish caught up the top of the south arm?

To win a second wooden spoon in a row is that , humble pie then Southdeeps

Default Tough hot day

I did not wait until the end of the weigh in but it was clear England had won, Scotland were second and I would guess Ireland were third but I only saw half the Welsh squad weigh in before I had to dash as its a good 2.5 hr drive home.

Rob Sosbee with 11 fish seemed to be heading for the brown bowl although I think someone else in the England team also had a very good bag.

The fished seemed to be well spread out and a lot of yesterdays hot spots were a lot cooler today, the average bag today was circa 4 or 5 fish, indeed Phil Dixon who had 18 fish in yesterdays practice ended up with 4 today, I think the strong sun shine made it so tough. This was my first time as a boatman and it was very enjoyable, hopefully I might do it again in the future.
