Default Fancy a trip to the seaside?

Hi Fellas and a happy new year,

Kent and Sussex Fly Fishers will be back fishing the Anglian this year after taking last year off. We've a couple of personnel changes with Andrew Green and Clive Collier coming into the team with Myself, Jeff Latter, Keith Nicholson and Vince Brooks. Should be a good team if the nymphs are working!

Anyway, more importantly, no mankini's this year, I'm organising a Charity Sea fishing match instead. I know a few of you seek the salt as well and may just fancy a day out in kent.

It's at the end of this month and the details can be found here:

The "WORLD DAB FISHING CHAMPIONSHIPS". Dungeness, Sunday 30th Jan 2011 - World Sea Fishing Forums

and auction items here: AUCTION ITEM: Be on TV!!!!!!!! - World Sea Fishing Forums

and here: RNLI Auction no 2. Fish with a UK casting champion! - World Sea Fishing Forums

Tight lines for 2011 and see you on the water.

All the best,

Simon.

I won't be able to fish the Dab World Championship mate but I intend to come down and see how it's going for a few hours.

I've been a member of the RNLI for more years than I can remember and will be making a donation on the day.

Well done Si for organising this comp for such a brilliant cause. The RNLI wouldn't be in existence if it weren't for people like you. I wish you well with the event.

I've never seen a fisherman at Dungeness wearing a mankini in the middle of winter before

I can come down early on the day to help organise if you want any help at that time, just let me know.

GH

Thanks Grasshopper, I'll be in touch.

I forgot to say a public thank you to Paul Davison for his donation of a pair of chest waders resulting in another £75 into the kitty.

Cheers Paul, appreciated.
