Default Ceff website

Is it me?
Where on earth on the website does it show you dates for the river qualifiers this year? It doesn't?!
Despite going through the various web pages all that's to be found are results and not future dates, apart from Severn Trent?

Does anyone know the dates for all the river qualifiers?

Thanks in advance.

Equally concerning is that some 2011 river qualifiers happened at the end of last year, without any notification on the website that the event was going to take place, so you didn't have the opportunity to enter.

I know the webmaster has mentioned that he just doesn't get the information to put on there, if that's the case surely in this day and age the federations can forward him an email with the entry forms and match details to publish in time for people to enter.

Regards,
Terry

It's a bit scary Terry, jobs for the boys perhaps?

Gareth, it seems that no one is doing anything on it?

Shame really as the guys that do all the organising of events etc are very punctual and good at what they do, shame the website doesn't reflect this?!

Perhaps its time that the new CEFF Chairman spoke out about what is happening. Not forgetting the outgoing Baz who did a great job in PR in his term of duty.

Guys, The website is run by Simmo who is away on a course this week and cannot respond, I have some items outstanding for the Bank Championship which will be dealt with next week.

All the items on there are based on events organised by the Federations of the CEFF and it is to them that you should be aiming your queries not the Web master.

Guys' please let me put you in the picture, I am married with two young children and a full time job. I do the CEFF web site for next to nothing as a way of putting something back into the confed. I put up the information as quick as I get it on most occasions, work and family commitments sometimes slow this process. I think you need to bear in mind the people that organise and work on your behalf are doing this for nothing. “Jobs for the boys” if you want the job your welcome to it.

I would suggest instead of whinging on here that you get involved and help. I will be back at work next week and nothing will be done until this time.

Steve, Terry,

I'm in total agreement with everything you say about the frustration at the lack of dates/info on the site but I'm not certain the buck lies with Simmo.

If the individual federations picked a date well in advanced (as some do) this would give Simmo plenty of time to enjoy his well earned family time and then when circumstances permit post the information on the site in good time for us to make the best use of it.

By announcing dates 'late', all that happens is that we finish up scratching around for numbers where as if we got the dates/venues out sooner there's always time for word of mouth or maybe even a bit of plugging on here to try and reverse the worrying trend of declining numbers.

At the risk of repeating Steve's initial question, anyone have any firm dates/venues? In particular for Northern and Peninsula feds?

CJ
