I was at the last one there the organisation was good and the locals made a great show but the cheating was bad. Stocking some beats on the morning of match marking fish that wern't actually caught!!
The home team were ferried round in blacked out range rovers i was a sight to behold. Having said that i sort of enjoyed it!

Typically, there is almost no info whatsoever coming out of FIPS on this one. Wouldn't we all like to know. Right now, all we can tell is that the championships will be centred on a lake venue! Actually, I have heard, from team Italy, that there will be at least three river sectors - alpine rivers with brown trout only. Stocked or wild, or both? I guess the latter.

hi ,I got an email from one of the organisers telling me 4 rivers and 1 lake,then last week recieved a copy of an email from one of the italian competitors saying 3 rivers and 2 lakes, so everything up in the air at the moment as they are not sure themselves

I do not know what you saw there, but my opinion is that there was no chance for cheating - especially not for Polish team.
I'm not Polish.

Hi, does anybody know about the venues for the youth world championship in Italy? Are there both river and lake venues?
