Tried for an answer in the general section and got no answer so thought I would try the comp fisherman.
Why is it there are no county teams and inter-county matches and leagues as there are in most other sports.
If there was, would it not produce better anglers for the national team?.
I suppose there would have to be three types of teams, Stillwater bank, Rivers and reservoirs.
I suppose a system of fish offs at differant fisheries and a points system could work.
Any thoughts lads?
I think we have the foundations for a match with kennick but thats more inter-club and not true county squads.
