Private Syndicate - Sherfield-on-Loddon

Due to the increasing years of a few of our members, a very private syndicate based on the Duke of Wellington’s Estate near Sherfield-on-Loddon currently has vacancies for the coming season.

As the syndicate has a very strict limited number of members, we have for the past few years abandoned a waiting list as it was literally “dead man’s shoes”.

Therefore, with nobody on a list for availability, the first to apply will be joining us this season.

If you enjoy the idea of a mile-and-a-half of intimate brook, small stream fishing for hard fighting fish and the opportunity to bring a limited number of guests throughout the season, please contact me for more information.

Members can fish seven days a week throughout the season. You are not joining an allocated day rod per week; this is genuine every-day fishing.

If you live or work in the Basingstoke/Reading area, this is a great opportunity to have somewhere to fish before or after work, during your lunch hour or anytime it takes your fancy.

Personally, I’m already tying up some new Mayfly patterns in anticipation for what should start coming off the water from the end of May right through to the end of June/beginning of July.

Membership fee is £270 per year.

Sorry, I've been out of the country for some time, hence my absence on the forum.

We currently have a waiting list, and until the current members have responded with their subscriptions, I cannot confirm if there will be availability for this season.

Additionally, I am establishing a new syndicate that will provide a mixture of river and lake fishing which may be of interest.
