Default Rutland Water FlyFishers Evening

Thought I'd drum up support for an evening presentation I'm doing for Rutland Water FlyFishers. It's on Thursday March 4th at 7.30pm, all welcome.
I'm talking a little bit and showing some videos on my overseas fishing trips: Russian Salmon from the Kola Peninsula, Giant Sturgeon from the Fraser River, Atlantic Salmon from the Miramichi in New Brunswick and a little bit about what I do here on Rutland, to enlighten some pre-conceived ideas of my set up. It'll hopefully be interesting, a little bit different and above all, fun. The emphasis, as with all my fishing, will be on the adventure, and rock and roll!.. we had an evening with Peter Gathercole last night and the attendance wasn't great, so please come along to this, the last event before the fishing season, get your juices flowing before the off! Non members welcome.

Default Venue

Thanks for asking. March 4th Thursday 7.30pm Empingham Cricket Club, Empingham Rutland. As you drive into Empingham from the A606, take the first main left, 200 yards up there on the left.

I went to Rob's presentation on atlantic salmon fishing last nite and thought it was brilliant, it was well put together, totally entertaining and informative with some outstanding photography and soundtrack's. Well worth the 80 mile round trip. I would recommend any 'fishing club' that want's to learn more about the prospect of fishing for atlantic salmon abroad to get Rob in and listen to what he has to say - a fantastic evening. Well done Rob and thanks.

I also went along to this, it was an enjoyable evening. The films on Russia and Canada were superb, as was the sequence taken on Rutland.

Default Club Presentations

Well, I'm truly honoured by such praise, thanks guys. I'm glad you enjoyed it, though I was really nervous before, I also enjoyed doing it. If anyone; clubs, groups, societies etc would like a presentation about Atlantic Salmon Fishing in Russia and Canada, Sturgeon in British Columbia and Rutland Water trout, please give me a shout.

Rob,

Better late than never

I realy enjoyed your talk the other night. Thanks for inspiring me! I've see a few talks and that was one the most professional and well pitched presentation I've seen in a long time!

Let me know when you are having a sale

Regards

Chris

PS hope you are OK for the 10th Sept.
