Blanefishing is on a distinguished road
Default GAIA open day Tweedswood

GAIA's (Game Angling Intructors Association) annual spring event on the Tweed is taking place again on the 13th March venue is Tweedswood fishery near Melrose. Whilst this is primarily an event for GAIA members and lasts 3 days non-members are invited to come on the Saturday. This is an especially usefull day if you are thinking about becoming an instructor or even thinking about having instructions.

The day will run from 9am until 5pm and will include;

Demonstrations on Spey Casting and Single Handed casting from some of the best in the country.
Presentations from the Tweed Foundation on entomology.
Demonstrations on Grayling fishing
Fly tying
A half hour casting lesson all given by GAIC and APGAI instructors.

The cost of the day for non members which includes lunch is £75, spaces are limited
