Default Southern FFF Meet

Dis-united Anglers of the South Unite!

Following much confusion, mostly caused by me, the date for the following event has been changed to Sunday, 07th February, 2010 at Woodington Fishery in Hampshire.

Following on from our last meet at this fishery, which was hailed as a great success by those who attended, John and Amanda have invited us back due to our good behaviour (and a large envelope of cash for the major dent we put in their fish stocks).

Woodington is a truly wonderful winter fishery, coupled with a great catch and release policy and some of the best tasting food found at any angling venue, this event is a real treat.

The format for this year is the choice of two tickets; a Gold Ticket which entitles you to catch and keep two fish from the big fish pool followed by catch and release from the other three lakes or a Silver Ticket which entitles you to keep your first two fish followed by catch and release (excludes the big fish pool).

The pricing is:

Gold Ticket (limited numbers) £ 42:00

Silver ticket £ 25:00

Food £ 10:00
(Two bacon rolls for breakfast, Amanda’s famous toad-in-the-hole or Shepherds Pie and dessert for lunch and all the tea/coffee you can manage)

If you need any further convincing, please see the following links:

The thread from last years event.

If you would like to come and enjoy the fun, please reply to this thread stating which ticket you require and if you would like/not like food.

Merry Fishmas.

Hi All

I've just had some bad news.

I will be unable to take part in this event on the 31st Jan 2010 due to an unexpected work function that weekend.

However, if everybody would still like this event to continue as scheduled, I am happy to continue organising.

I hope you all have a great day and don't forget to send me some pictures.

Gav,

If you can't make this date, re-schedule it for another date that you can make. I'm sure that the one's who voted for the 31st could make a different date? There's still enough time to re-schedule it?
Just a thought mate! Shame if you missed it.

Hi mate,

Your 5/6 weight will be fine for Woodington. The lakes are fairly small and you don't have to cast miles to reach the fish. Don't worry about limited experience, there will be enough of us to guide you in the right direction!

Cheers
