One of our group
Ladiesfishing supported the NE branch of the S&TA by arranging the following prizes to help raise funds at the S&TA dinner last week. We would now like to thank the following who each generously donated a day of their time in support of the S&TA.
Paul Little (Salmon Specialist, world-renowned classic fly dresser of Atlantic salmon flies, AAPGAI Double Handed Master Instructor)
A day with Paul on his favourite beat for a day's guiding and casting for salmon on the River Derwent.
Paul also donated his dressed & framed Classic Spey Flies - The Black King, The Miss Grant, The Lady Caroline. (The gentleman who won them was delighted. An optimistic fellow guest promptly offered to buy them from him. Optimism misplaced!)
Paul Procter (Writer, Orvis Consultant, Wild Trout Trust Vice-President, AAPGAI Master Instructor). A day on a Cumbrian river with Paul, revealing some of the more secluded beats he favours, along with flies and techniques he uses to tempt wily trout.
Lee Cummings (Sage, Rio Pro Guide, AAPGAI Master Instructor)
A day of one-to-one casting tuition on either single or double handed rod, guiding for either salmon, mullet or bass in Cumbria.
Seafood Training Centre
Seafood Training Centre donated a day course designed for anglers in their purpose-built premises at North Shields Fish Quays. The training centre is renowned for its fish filleting courses, covering everything from skinning to steaking and filleting to cooking and eating. The Gift Voucher entitles two people to fillet/prepare and steak salmon to the value of £200.
