SUSTAINABLE MANAGEMENT OF RIVER TROUT FISHERIES

The Institute of Fisheries Management (IFM) is holding a series of workshops on sustainable management river of trout fisheries. The morning will consist of presentations on trout genetics, current Environment Agency policy on stocking, a trout farmers view and the view of the Wild Trout Trust.

The afternoon will consist of a Q&A session with the invited speakers, who include Professor Andy Ferguson, Dr Brian Shields and Shaun Leonard, Director of the Wild Trout Trust.

The dates and venues are:

Saturday 24th October - Holiday Inn, Garforth, Leeds
Saturday 7th November - 'Tickled Trout' Preston
Saturday 21st November -Sparsholt College, Winchester.
Saturday 5th December - Glamorgan Conference Services, Cardiff.
