Default Kinkell Grayling Day

Myself and Campbell were chatting about this the other day and we thought that the last time we were there Sandy mentioned that the best time to fish for the Grayling was the end of September? We think it was because , by the time we (forum members) normally fish Kinkell , its well into November and the Grayling have had a bit of a hammering by then. So we were wondering if the dates could be brought forward this year?

Mr Doyle ....... What do you think? Obviously with the Salmon anglers still around at this time it would need to be a Sunday.

Also , what would the position be on the wading?

Food for thought.

All the best.

Mark

Would give me a chance to learn how to use a centre pin reel. And yes Camshy this one fits the rod.

I reckon the best time for grayling on the Earn is the end of September through October. Good chance of fish on the dries and spiders as well as the nymph. Avoiding the Salmon anglers is a pain so a Sunday is always the best bet.

The rest of us just wore hats, Jim went a bit far with the wig. Didn't even match the beard.
