Right i will start again ,it looks like Lough Lene (Westmeath)is the favoured venue so i will put up a poll for 4 possible dates .

Ah lough lene,great venue,not too far to go then Ill provide a boat and engine,and im sure orange dabbler will do the same,it should fish its nuts off in september on the dries.Looking forward to it already

I'm looking forward to it myself. I've never fished it before, so it's new water for me..

I will have an engine, and my mate Ronan who is also a member may well bring his engine too.....

What would we all think to a wee catch and release competition?? Everyone throws in 10 Euro and winner takes all? Nothing like a bit of prize money to bring out the best in us all.


I'm not quite sure on what date suits me best yet... so i will refrain from voting for now...

Its fishing well enough during the day, a mate of mine had five today on a di3 and a cats whisker.Its fishing better in the evening as the Green Peter and silver horns are hatching,was on it last week during the day and had fish on coral blobs and silver dabblers on a di 3,a lot of fish on fry during the day.Best of luck saturday.

Me and the wee lad is still keen on coming down for a day trip,only thing is im waiting on my roster coming out so i can't vote on a date yet. Plus i've no boat engine so me and hareslug would have to be split with someone who doe's if thats ok?

I'm on for September but I would prefer the earlier dates, even the 29th of August would suit me. Any way I can provide a boat and engine so lets see what date we all settle for and hopefully get some thing organised.
