What about a ALL IRELAND MEMBERS meet. How about Lough Lene in Westmeath. Sort of middle of the country and only a couple of hours drive for most of us. Would be nice to get to know a few of the " paddy's " on here.

Its only a fiver chris for a 3 day permit the last i heard. As for lene do you have to have your own engine or can you rent that with the boat?

Maybe a weekend in September on Lene and we might get some of the fry feeders

I would second Trouthunters proprosal, although if the boys above really want a NI meet then maybe an all Ireland meet would have to be arranged separately?

I for one would have an engine which i would take along... (I could potentially take a boat too? )

Sounds like it could be a great idea....

Cheers
JJ

Yes you can hire both engines and boats from Tommy Fagan or bring your own.

If you're organising in Sept, bear in mind the Interpro on Lough Arrow on 19th.

I would certainly be interested however I think Sept could be a bad month for me cause of other committments

Well sign me up then...
Bear, it may well be a good idea to start up a new thread as the heading is a bit misleading...!!

I will most likely be able to get a mate to come along and he will have an engine too..

I am good with just about any date, apart from the first weekend in september.. what about the last saturday in august which is the 29th?

Cheers
JJ
