Hi all

Just to let any Paisley Abercorn members know that the first workparty of the year has been arranged for Sunday 7 June 2009. The workparty will start at 12 noon sharp and finish around 4pm.

Members are asked to meet at the Club Hut. The work party will focus on cutting down some of the hogweed, Japanese knotwweed and Himalayan balsam that has afflicted some of the banks.

This will be quite a task but very worthwhile as these plants have been causing a major obstruction to a lot of good fishing spots.

Could members who have access to this forum also assist by passing the news onto other club members who haven't yet embraced the wonder that is t'internet...
