Default Harelaw Day Out - Sunday 7th June. Details inside.

Hi all,

Now that that everyone has had their vote for the Harelaw day out the most popular date was Sunday 7th June and I have confirmed today with Alex that the 7th of June is fine by him.

The ticket rules for the day out is that there must be at least 2 people in a boat at the one time with a 10 fish limit per boat.

Alex has very generously offered us a £5 discount compared to the normal prices per boat so that means that it is working out at a credit crunch bursting £20 per head (based on 2 people per boat) which is a bargain considering the quality of the fish at Harelaw.

Alex has also generously offered to provide tea and coffee for us and Cumbrian Chris has very generously offered to bring along some of the best tasting steak pies that I have eaten. One piece of advice that I would offer is that members PM Chris for an order in advance as once you have tasted one of the pies on the day you will regret not putting in an order for more!

The members who voted for the 7th June are below. If you could please confirm in this thread if you are still able to go it will be appreciated so that we have an accurate list of numbers.

Thanks.

Count me in with 1 guest. I may end up with another guest, would it be alright to let you know nearer the time?

Also what's the arrangement with boats going to be, can we all get to fish from a boat?

And last but not least many thanks to Alex for a great price!

No worries Scotty. Just post here closer to the day

AFAIK there are 12 boats so that equates to 24 people that can fish from boats which is more than enough
