Default Forum get-together at Cumbrian Festival of Fishing – Sunday May 17th

We are happy to pass along this invitation from David Stocker, one of the organisers of this years Festival of Fishing taking place in the Lake District next month. Might be a good excuse for any forum members in that area to have a meet up and enjoy some fishing.

Many of us belong to online fishing families, and with Fish and Fly, and Fishing Magic now members of the same family, it might be fun to hold a social/get together/fish-in for ‘family members’ in the north of England, during Cumbrian Festival of Fishing week.

Bigland Trout Fishery in south Cumbria would welcome such an event and would be happy to knock a couple of quid off their usual day ticket prices. The fishery is situated in a truly lovely hilltop setting (with a big lodge if the weather’s not so brilliant), is easy to access with good parking, and their website can be seen at www.biglandtroutfishery.co.uk/

Preferred date is Sunday May 17th. Any takers?

For full details of the festival please see their website at www.gofishinglakedistrict.co.uk
