Default Killyleagh Fly Fair - Northern Ireland

You are all cordially invited to a weekend of fun, flycasting, flytying, flyfishing, the finest of fare and filling your socks with Guinness.

On the first weekend of July, the Village of Killyleagh, Co. Down, Northern Ireland is celebrating its second annual Fly Fair. This is the only show in Ireland dedicated to the art of the fly.

Located on the west side of Strangford Lough where the Mountains of Mourne roll down to the sea, this is a beautiful place with excellent folks in residence.
Some great fishing is available locally, the Guinness and food are served to the highest standard.
Come all ye and welcome

E J (Ted) Malone is famed for his books 'Tying Flies in the Irish Style' and 'Irish Trout and Salmon Flies' also for maintaining Irish dye recipes and fly patterns for future reference; the Godfather of Irish fly tying at ninety years young will be celebrating this festival in esteemed company.

We look forward to seeing you there
Roy
