Default The Mowley Valley Fishing Camp 09

Those of you that have been on/heard about the Monnow social will know what to expect here. After some time speaking with Dave (Tigermoth) and Frank I hope this weekend will be just as successful:

The Lugg and Arrow Fisheries Association (LAFA) are hosting a similar weekend in Herefordshire.

The dates are Friday evening 22nd May - Sunday 24th May.

The cost is £100 per angler - all profits will go to to the 'Duffers', who are the fundraising arm of LAFA.

To keep the quality of the fishing high we only have 20 places available.

We will provide:
A place to camp in the beautiful Mowley Valley near Pembridge in Herefordshire on the banks of the river Arrow (you need to bring a tent/caravan etc)
2 days of fishing on some exclusive beats of the Lugg and Arrow for top quality fish.
Cooked supper on Friday and Saturday plus breakfast on Saturday and Sunday.
Casting and fishing advice from a guide (although I'm sure you've all got plenty of that to give!)
A friendly group of fishermen to spend a weekend with in beautiful surroundings.
& with a bit of luck some good hatches of Mayfly too!

If you are interested please get in touch as places are going fast - you will need a £25 deposit to secure your place.
Contact - luggandarrow@bigfoot.com or message me on the forum.

Looking forward to meeting some of you there.

Duffers (James)

I'd like to add a few words of support for this event. The Lugg and Arrow guys are a great bunch of people who have been working tirelessly to improve their rivers. I know there are a fair few of you on here who like to fish the WUF or Gamefishers beats of these waters. This is a great chance to get to know these rivers a little more intimately... and have a good time doing it!

Every success James!
