Default Tuition day for forum members

Ladies & Gents,

I'm floating this idea to see if there's enough interest to justify running such an event.

Would people be interested in a tuition day? I could do 6-7 one hour lessons 1on 1 during a normal days fishing, and because I'll be doing the lessons 'in bulk' I can reduce my prices from £30/hr to £20/hr as I won't have to factor in costs such as petrol and travelling time. In addition, I very well may be able to negotiate a discount for access to the fishery as there'll be a gang of us turning up. If the meet happens in the summer, I may well be able to organise up to ten 1 hour lessons allowing for a 15m break between lessons. If there's enough interest and lots of people want to turn up I could do 1/2hr lessons per person, at ten pounds each. I suggest Meon Springs Fishery in mid hampshire as it's got great facilities, a good lodge, free tea and coffee all day, and has a great pricing policy. The day would basically involve everyone turning up, paying a reduced rate for a days fishing, and at some point during the day joining me for a 1 to 1 lesson at their allocated slot and paying a reduced price for my services, with me teaching them whatever they want to know or what would be the most useful to know in one hour.

If you're interested then please post on this thread before I commit myself and spend a fortune of my money reserving a fishery and nobody turns up

I'd be up for this too as long as it's on the C&R pond!

I would be up for it and could also get 2 others as well. Depends on dates but Meon is a lovely fishery. I fished there recently, had a cracking day and if you havn't already seen my review and photos, have a look here:

Meon Springs fishery. 5th January 2009

It can be on either the C&R pond, the catch and keep pond, or on the river, entirely up to you, it's your money

I'd be up for this depending on the dates.
Been meaning to get over to Meon to give it a try anyway

Great idea, dates-dependent I'm interested too.
10x1 hour lessons in a day sounds somewhere between heroic and masochistic.
