I take it this show has now changed from the usual medieval nonsense - might go if there are fishing stands etc.

I think the Dungeons and Dragons people are there too this year...

Along with a bit of Badger baiting and Dog fighting, it should be a good show.

If this rain doesn't stop, its going to be a wash out. The field that they hold it in, will be like a swimming pool.

There's not been nearly the same rain at Shanes as there has been further east. The field's dry and there was no rain today (Friday) whereas you'll know it was p1ssing down in Belfast. The further west you go the drier it gets.

There's trout distance casting competitions both days with cash and tackle prizes and to be honest whoever turns up will win something as nobody seems to know about the Saturday competition.
