Default Lough Conn, End of Season Comp Sept 25

The Ballina and Cloghans Anglers association are holding their end of season competition 'The Lodge Cup' on Lough Conn on Saturday September the 25th.

Fishing hours from 11 to 6 followed by grub in the Lodge afterwards. Entry fee is €50 per boat. Choose your own fishing partners. Competitors are free to launch from anywhere on the lake as long as they have their entries paid. There are plenty of boats available on the shore in Cloghans should people just wish to bring an engine. Prizes are on a heaviest fish basis and anglers are encouraged to return subsequent smaller trout that they catch.

Entries to:
Sean Crean 087-6892890
Peter Roche 085 - 1365874
Seamus Kelly 087 -9782464

Will be away from Friday so will reply to any mails upon my return or you can get in touch with Sean or Peter.

Tight lines,

JB

Congrats to Waterlodge on winning the inaugural Lodge Cup. Managed to squeak into second myself which was not sooooo bad.

Thanks to all who took part and to Rory Harkin and Mary and PJ in the Lodge for the sponsorship.

It was tough day in a freezing northeasterly wind. Good fishing over the last few days though, with some nice catches reported.

Enjoy the winter break and looking forward to meeting many new and old friends on Lough Conn in 2011
