sounds good, may well give it a go. Could be interesting anyway, Knowing me with my seemingly magical ability to make flies vanish off the end of my leader

If it's the same as last year Pete, then the above is not strictly true... What usually happens is... you bring two identical patterns of your own choice. For example two identical Soldier Palmers... or Diawl Bachs, whatever. The idea is to fish with the one fly all day, but you have the spare just in case. We all know though, that through our own caressness (usually the case) or due to mental fish, we can soon loose a couple of flies.... so, in order that you can fish all day (unless you are particularly stupid/unlucky) the organisers will present you with a third fly... as a second spare. A 2lb bonus is awarded to all anglers who, at the weigh in, can present the 3 flies they went out with.

Not attneding this one John.... I'm still sulking and licking my wounds from last year

Pig flue? A black and olive double got me second place last year.... but it was bright.... dragged it along the bottom.... and eventually lost a fly

Hi Rob Peter Andrews won it with 7 fish.

4 fish was 2nd, 3rd and 4th.

Tough as old boots if you got the fly choice wrong like wot I did

The last one of these I fished (2 years ago) Ben gave us all a cormorant to fish with as an emergency fly - didn't happen this year though

I was impressed to see your fly dressing skills being recognised in FF&FT.

3 days on Rutters to look forwrd to now

Steve
