The Jack McNeely Cup is been fished on Lough Conn on Saturday the 22nd of August, from Cloghans. It is a boat competition and there will be no draw for partners, so people are free to fishing with the angling partner of their own choice.

If anyone needs a boat for the day they will be looked after on the shore in the morning.

The fly fishing competition is hosted by the Ballina and Cloghans Angling Club. Fishing hours are from 11 am until 6 pm. All boats are required to start and finish on the shore at Cloghans.

This is an ideal opportunity for formum members from the Corrib, Mask and the midland to fish a proper lake that is fishing well. I know ye don't like to move to far from base but ye might on this occassion

JB, you can also pencil dooras and i in for the Competition, he will be flying in from Morocco for the day, you should be honoured! Will contact you prior to it re boats and engines, looking forward to seeing you all, should be a fun day out, will need some pointers, never fished it before!
