What did they take last year in the rain? Buzzers and nymphs I am guessing?

It seems the RHDB is always a good fly for Rutland based upon the number of folks, not just yourself, who mention it in dispatches. I have a green version that seems to do well for me when they get on the daphnia. Might get to see you later this evening. Usually can be seen in a faded Greys cap and Hardy jacket.

I am sure John Wadham will post more fuller details elsewhere. Paul Wild won with 8 x fish for 18lb. I managed third with 6 x fish for 13lb 100z. Plenty of fish showing where I stood along Normanton feeding on sedge pupae mostly. The rain held off until the journey home thankfully, still a bit cold when the cloud came over, but it was a good evening.

Well a very disappointing evening for me
I was on call and only managed just over an hour on Fantasy before i had to go
By the time i finished it was 10 to 9 and too late to return
There's always next year
Well done OMYKISS on coming third with 6!

Thanks m8. John did wait to the last minute expecting you to weigh in - but no one knew that you had to depart. PM me in advance and I should be able to pitch up on a Friday night to Rutland to fish the bank if you can meet up
