Selmmuir fly fishing open competition
The Selmmuir single,s competition went well on saturday with 17 anglers turning up for the comp, We knew fishing was going to be hard as the water has coloured due the the heavy downpours this week but despite the colour of the water the fish were coming on as the water has started to cool down. Dave thomson took a cracking lead landing three fish very quickly but seemed to fade a away during the coarse of the day.almost all anglers seemed to catch fish which was a good sight to see .

Runner-up Was John Mclean with 3 fish for 7lb 10oz he recieves a wooden fly box and trophy
