Can anyone tell me? Are the sections used for the comp usually accessible for Grayling fishing. I got the impression on the day that these were closed beats made avaialable for the day. There were some fishy looking streches I woul dlike to revist sometime when the water was less like Chocolate and the wind wasn't trying to bowl me down the river. Was a well organised event- real shame.

I believe that some of the stretches are day ticket waters but there were a few stretches opened up just for the comp. I also plan on getting back up there and trying when the river is in better condition.
These seem to do tickets.

I can see the Beat C on the Jedforest site is the beat we had for the morning, just above the bridge though we tried to fish behind a farm up the road. The Hawick one I can't see a map.
