Default Pike...

Bought some Rapalas on here a week ago. They needed a swim and look who turned up to the party:

Not the best photo because the broad back is not evident. The head is a clue.

Very nice pike, I am wanting to go pike fishing and wondering what they normally go for in terms of lures?

Yes, lovely looking Pike christy27......

westcoastgirl,
I've been using flies for the last couple of years for Pike on the river Itchen in Hampshire.
The successful flies have been anything fishy looking really with movement, I've even caught on sandeel imitation flies I use for Bass.
Some fish take so gently, yet others are so savage they've nearly ripped the rod from my grasp.....
Cheers
Colin
