These are couple bream and a Hybrid i caught at Tring last summer.

Great fish !!

Any Tench ????

I have a soft spot for Tring , in particular the canal as I used to fish there 25 years ago .

Thanks guys, Danny, no matey not had any of the Tench, really don't put enough time in, but i do fish canal for the carp in the summer.
Getting hard work now with so much gear to carry lol, not fished the canal by the reservoirs at all, but do fish a place just up the road called "Dixons gap" lots of carp to be had close up to the locks.
Now getting into fly fishing and want to try for the carp on the top on the canal.

If you are a member of Tring Angling go to Cooks Wharf and go past the boat yard to the bend about 100yds past if you want to fly fish for carp.

Did you catch the Bream at Wilstone

Good Fish well done

Vary nice indeed.Used to love my bream fishing,strange some people hate em.
I too used to frequent the canal up that way(many moons ago),Northchurch!!!!,there were some big shoals of bream there.

good fish there , the size of a dinner plate never had the pleasure meself only small stuff but theres hope yet
