All natural feeding aswell Bruce, they think boilies are tennis balls.Boilies and things like that just dont work at all up here for them due to them feeding on natural for years.
When it came out it looked alot bigger ,cracker of a fish and led tony a good dance on 7lb line.plenty Bream on the pole untill the wind got up.

How does you pond fish in general Kevin?

Do you get many pole anglers up there or do you run any sweeps?

the guys who use the pole seem to do the best, not being a coarse angler myself Im still learning by watching them, but alot seems to depend on weather, they dont seem to like the rain or wind, rainbows seem to .But the past few weeks fishing has been really good and luncheon meat and sweetcorn has done well.bream and ide and the carp being caught well.we have a compy on sat 17th july and run a golden peg for this which is mounting up into a tidy sum.
Must admit it does fish strange at times ,but last 3 weeks Tony Hunt who uses the pole has had really good bags and seems to have it sussed,If anyone I would point you to for advice on there it would be him and he helps anglers who fish on it.
I hope this helps,i can only tell you honestly and wont bull it just to get you up and fishing. If its bad ill say if its good Ill say.
tightlines.
