Default Traditional floats...

A friend of mine has been making lovely floats for myself and a few others for some time, he's now starting to sell them on ebay and i thought some may be interested on here...

Here's a pic i took of a selection today

They're nice G, what's his take on the best float for 'local' trotting (not that I do any but might give it a go some day)?

Did I see a relative of yours using one recently like the top example ... on his refurbed classic cane rod?

PS - nothing appears to be on sale on the e-bay site?

Either an avon or smaller bodeid "bobber" should be about right mate, depending on the bait and how boily the water is etc

You've seen my brother use his floats also, the rod he was using was his Allcock's lucky strike(he bought one after seeing mine)

I think he likes his items to end on the weekend so more should be along in no time, i'll see him in the pub on tues so will let him no people are watching....

Cheers,

Graham
