Default Could anyone give advice on dapping please

Today i got a spool of dapping floss 50m and a box of 30 huge flies can anyone give me a slight idea of the set up. For example do you fish it with a fly reel what size leader would normaly be used i,ve got an 11,3 signature 7wt would that be ok. how much floss would you put on your reel ? any comments, help or info much apreciated. i think i know the basic idea. Getting the fly to skip across the water, using the floss as a sail ? thanks Alan

There,s a lot of names i,ve never seen in genaral topics. i,m sure you,ll understand when your trying to learn something you can,t get enogh info on it. Make no mistake i apreciate what you,re self and others posted in. this page is has something along the lines of older methods of trotting for grayling and course fish And it is an old,old method so i thought i would give it a try ?
