Hahaha no ive never used trout as bait! all those pike we on dead roach

I do ssshhhhhh though . One of the best baits there is, especially if trout live in the waters you are pike fishing . Ask ya man Hobble on here mate he tell you some pike stories

Lol i like pike stories na the big pike is from the river Trent and the other from canals. ill have to get hold of some small dead bait see what they are like

one from today that my mate caught on a 5inch dead roach. he lost this fish because of a dodgey knot he tied then caught it again nearly a hour later! jammy git he still aint catching ones like mine

P.s this fish had 4 dead roach in her mouth very lucky he got it again as the hook may have killed her. Catch and release always with pike!
