Default Classic coarse forums

Gents, any ideas where I can find more stuff in the same vein as this sub-forum. Appreciate it won't be the most popular spot on a fly fishing forum but would love to read more of the same. Just to be clear I like:
Waterlog magazine, fibreglass rods, mitchell/abu reels, purepiscator.net, float fishing, tench, maggots, worms, bread, trotting.
Not so keen on matches, poles, rigs, boilies, secrets, new tackle, bivvys, wheelbarrows, commercial holes in the ground filled with chocolate coloured water and carp, etc.

These are some I have frequented, used to spend a fair bit of time on the first one. Not really "classic", ie a lot of match/commercials talk, but you can sort the wheat from the chaff so to speak

and you probably know this one already:

At the risk of stating the bloody obvious, have you noticed the new Secret Swim on Pure Piscator?

Just been and registered on the secret swim, can't believe I've missed it as I have a gander at PP at least once a week.

It was a very discreet introduction. Shame they've decided to knock the rest of the site on the head…

I also heard some rumblings today about a revamped Waterlog site, although I've no idea at all what that might entail.

Yorkio - its just dawned on me - your avatar...Ladybird book of Fishing!

Oh the hours I spent as a kid looking at the picture of that grinning lad cradling a lovely fat common carp, back when carp were a novelty, dreaming of the day I would catch anything that size...ahh.... I've still got the book somewhere but just had a look and can't find it. Thank you, that brought the memories flooding back

Squire theres anglersnet a nice site in simular vain too this section ,or this sites sister coarse forum ,fishingmagic the secretswim is a good forum ,pity about the main site .its the only decent forums i'm not a member of (if i ever decide too cut one of my other forums from my list of prefered sites ,i may join myself instead of just lurking) .I know of another secret site all about classic angling and centrepins but it never got finished ,it got put on a back burner in 08 ,ok its one of mine ,another site project came up which needed all my attention so i mothballed it but whoknows maybe i'll find the time too finish putting the raw data in and getting it set up just right before inviting people to join.
