It must be the only water I know of were the average bream and tench is about 5lb, and it's a beautiful place to fish. When you fish it make sure you put a lot of bait out in one spot throughout the day, that seems to be the key to it. When the tench/bream find your bait you'll get them one after the other. Also if you want bream you want to be casting 30-40 yards, as they seem to be quite shy and stay away from all the bankside disturbance during the day, whereas in the evening when the sun's going down you'll see them rolling fairly close in. Thats what my three blanks taught me anyway

, and it's a really unpredictable place.
O and also make sure you keep an eye on your rod, those tench are known to drag rods from rests

. I was speaking to one guy and he turned around for around two seconds, his rod flew off the rest towards the water with a decent tench attached
