Small lake on a nearby country estate for tench and perch as Duncan's guest. B James MkIV Avon (freshly restored by Gary Marshall), Speedia Reel, Home-made Reversed Quill Float, Lift Method, Worms and Bread, seated on an old wicker, box-shaped basket. Valhalla...

I'm undecided, the choices are:

1) big Tench and Bream on a mature gravel pit in Harefield, or

2) Barbel on the Colne (before they spook to all the normal baits / methods)

What would you all advise?

Cheers, John
