Smile what's the weight of this barbel

hi. can some one help me with a guess weight of this barbel please. i'm terrible at guessing weights. it was more than two foor long, had a girth like andre the giant and it bullied the hell out of me.

What a lovely old boy Burhan, I would guesstimate 10/12lbs.

I would say 9lb, but he could be 7ft tall for all we know lol

No doubt it would be guesstimated at 15 - 20lbs if you had caught it

I would guesstimate 8 to 10 lb max.

My best Barbel weighed 9lb 8oz,caught on the Severn in 1996 and in honesty yours looks slightly less than that.I'd guess it weighs around 8lb 1/2 to 9lb.I've been trying to find a photo of the fish I caught but distinctly remember it being more robust.When and where was the fish in the photograph caught?

Yes - and the barbel photos... both pure evil...

The barbel was out of season and should have been returned immediately without any photographic delay.
