Packington Estates have stretches of the River Blythe that they let out to various clubs and syndicates. Ring 01676 523833.

Otherwise, Bailey's of Warwick www.baileysofwarwick.com should direct you to some good fishing further south on the Avon and Leam. And don't forget W H Lane & Son in the London Road, Coventry.

Regards,

Doc

the Blythe at Packington Somers is day ticket, opnly about £4 at this time of year and plenty of chub. Small river so travel light and roving approach is best

The Leamington DAA has some stretches of the Avon near Wasperton which were good chub waters when I fished them.

Also, the Warwick DAA has stretches of the Avon at the back of the Saxon Mill pub in Warwick and used to have water at Hampton Lucy, which was prolific with chub.

Any of the above angling stores should let you have a look at the club waters in question so you can see what's available.

Warks Avon at Bretford used to be good fun back in my "yoof". Rugby Fed had it then, not sure who controls it now
