Right guys ready for a laugh ?

Got up this morning to a text from my pal to go fishing to Larbert loch [ small water pike , tench and perch ] . Off we went .... carried all the gear over and started to get set up . Water was still and looking really good. I always put a deadbait out and another rod for tench at the opposite side , Anyway mixed my groundbait up in the bucket and got the spod filled and stood up picked out a point and cast about 100 yards . The spod bounced ..... it was a crystal clear 1/4 thick sheet of ice !!!!!!!

thats the thing tho ! my fishing buddy phoned and said "do you think it will be frozen " and me my usual self choking to go fishing "nah it'll be fine "
