What sort of a cane rod are you looking for? Coarse? Fly? How much do you want to spend? I may be able to offer a few ideas........

Was looking around in summer first for a float rod and then for a fly, the reel is only small but very heavy think it's brass the rod would need to be heavyish to give some balance . Will probably pick one up it will only be used occasionally so didn't want to pay a fortune . My new Normark will be getting a good airing over the coming months and it's emptied my pockets ........ but worth it me thinks
