Who? Never heard of 'em

Commercial carp fisheries, I dunno, you stick a lorry load of hungry farmed non-native fish in a puddle and pat yourself on the back for pulling them out again. They should take up fly fishing instead, none of that nonsense for the purist gentlemen of the angle.

(still feel a bit of a hypocrite for fishing small stillwaters for trout when I wouldn't be seen dead on my club's carp puddle, but it's funny how quickly fishing gets boring when it's too easy and predictable, and I'm a lot better at coarse fishing than I am at fly fishing)

There's nothing quite like trotting a float down a river, although there is a lot to be said for banging out a net full of Carp and Silvers on a commercial, great sport for little money.

Tried the first once, over fifty years ago, and been doing it ever since.

Tried the second once, and never went back.....
