Moving to Bunbury, Cheshire and wondered if anyone had fished the Gowy in Bunbury itself.

Until I checked out the EA Flood Map (as part of buying the house) I didn't realise the Gowy went through Bunbury. Looking at the EA map it might be a nice little brook to have a dabble at in the evenings... or it might be bone dry!

Either way, I'm not expecting pulse-racing sport.

If anyone can give me some info I'd appreciate it.

Warrington Anglers assoc. and Bay Malton A.C. have stretches of the Gowy, but not at Bunbury as far as i know. There are most species of fish in it including flounders! Take a look at those 2 club sites to get an idea.
