Stunning quality, but I'm not happy about the use of Kingfisher feathers. They may well be imported, but that doesn't make it OK.

Initially just what I thought but look a little more deeply into the blog and you'll find that the kingfisher feathers came from an old pair of stuffed birds that the maker bought, so they are 'recycled'.

Join the "other" sister site (Read the FishingMagic online fishing magazine and chat with 60,000+ members on our fishing forum), get posting and then enter the competition to win some of Andy's floats!

We're not just coarse fisherman over there you know!

New 'Photo Your Catch' Competition 2011

Andy's floats are stunners, works of art, but still very fishable.

according to the website which I read today its suspended

The sad news is, we really expected a little more in the way of entries even though it was Februrary and so, regretfully the competition is now suspended. Our thinking caps are on and perhaps the competition can resume when the days warm up a little more and the cameras come out more often.
