Ive heard of brown crumb being used? is this just brown bread turned into a crumb?

Casters , Maggots ( kill most of them with a splash of boiling water just before you add them to the mix ) , Chopped Worms , Wheat , Maize , Molasses , Liquidized Sweetcorn etc etc etc ....

Brown crumb is not expensive if you buy in bulk 20-25 kg bags . Mind you if you get the Bream going well you will get through a LOT of groundbait trying to hold them .......

craig ,try using bran aswell to bulk everything out , also try adding a binder to make it all stick tight together if your pre baiting ,and as danny says sweetcorn,dead maggots, casters etc etc also try using fake corn on the hook as in hair rigged if you get a bite and miss it at least you know its still on ..believe me fake corn is a cracking bait ...

Get some aniseed into that ground bait Craig if the water you are fishing has not banned it. Course fish love Aniseed for some reason.
