To save any further hijacking of the Grafham thread in comp results I have decided to start a new one to highlight the moment of madness that will be Bewl Geordie fishing at Chew in the Lexus England final in a mankini (think Borat) and if the money is right, a blonde wig and make up!

All we need is £500 for the RNLI and you'll have the funniest front cover of a fishing mag ever (only joking BG )!! The fund stands at over £100 promised in the first 24 hours which is remarkable in itself.

Should anybody wish to donate to this, please send me a PM and I shall forward my address to send a cheque made payable to the RNLI - no cash please. If the figure isn't reached then all monies will go to RNLI anyway but with a little perseverance I'm sure we can do it.

Bewl Geordie has given the ok to go ahead with this (it actually just started as a joke between friends) and his team mate Grasshopper has assured me he will go ahead with it on the day. Not only is it a bit of fun but it also is for a very worthy cause IMHO.

A more genuine and worthy cause is difficult to find. The majority of their crews are unpaid volunteers who risk their own lives to save others. I am not entirely happy about making this offer to humiliate myself in such an excruciatingly embarrassing way and what started out as a bit of a joke has evolved to my downfall.
